What else to say... simply charming.
Here's a 4/5 & 8/10 for the fact that the singers could be better. Don't hate me, but since it's a capella song, and a cover I can't judge on anything except the interpretation. Which is very good, but honestly I dislike the lead vocal... the ones in the back are cool. :P

1 remark is the bass sound. Need smthng fatter, deeper, bolder to make this loop a little gem.

I give this a 5/5 just to crank it up, 'cause it certainly deserves a bigger score. I've heard faaaar worse here on NG.
I'd say that at least 80% of the song melodies and harmonies work properly. The rest seems a bit random, but that's creative freedom.
What I really like is the mood and the tempo dynamics, the ups and downs if you will... memories are just like that, a little bit of both.

Exactly the kind of sweet melancholy that period of the year brings with it (at least as far as I remember my school days).

...But I really enjoy this one. Perfect for a top view japanese style rpg, while cruising trough town getting quests, selling stuff and making stock for the next quest.

...but it's when the beat kicks in that I really start diggin' it.
My only remark is the flute, or rather it's volume/freq. It just hurts my ears a bit, but all else is spot-on.

As a metalhead myself, I've got to say this is a really good piece of music. I'm digging the harmonies, melodies, rythm, well all of it.
I've got some minor issues with the sound mix, the drums being swallowed by the rest, but that's a minor thing compared to the overall musical quality of the song.
Looping for the sixth time, that's reason enough for me to give it a 5/5 9/10 rating.
